Government commits to Port Soderick repairs

The government says areas of Port Soderick glen damaged by recent work there will be fixed 'as a matter of urgency'.

Officials say work has been required there because of consistent damage to the glens paths and riverbanks, and also to acommodate visitors who may be less mobile or disabled.

Chief Minister, Howard Quayle added that 'immediate action' is being taken to reinstate the area.

The Department of Environment, Food & Agriculture will be undertaking efforts to restore the affected area in partnership with Wildflowers Isle of Man.
