    Government disputes to be solved with external investigators

    External investigators are being recruited to help solve disputes within government.

    The panel of ad-hoc staff will accompany civil servants carrying out complex or urgent investigations in departments, boards and offices. 
     
    They'll be used when there are complaints of bullying and harassment, misconduct and concerns from the public. 
     
    However Liberal Vannin leader Kate Beecroft says an ombudsman would do just as well:
