Government is looking at abolishing tax discs but wants to observe the UK's implementation of it first.
Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne says it's important we get it right to reduce bureaucracy and administration costs in circulating them.
Town halls in London have warned that the DVLA haven't thought it through, that it hasn't been publicised enough and of potential hazards relating to 'car cloning' ahead of it's launch on October 1.
