Government supportive of Langness hotel plans

Government would welcome a planning application to redevelop the former Castletown Golf Links Hotel.

That's according to the MHK with responsibility for planning and building control - who insists that it's been derelict for too long.

Still in the early stages plans for a new boutique hotel and residential development are being backed by landowner and Island property developer Dandara.

Planning is due to be submitted later this year - Chris Thomas believes it'd benefit the whole Island:
