The government is looking to speed up its Green Living Grant Scheme.
That's according to Enterprise Minister Dr Alex Allinson, who responded to a question in the House of Keys this week.
The scheme requires homes to be audited before a grant is approved, with around 14% of audits either completed or scheduled.
Dr Allinson says the department is aware that the pace of these measures has not been as quick as they would like.
