Gov't to chop trees on TT Course

The government says it's chopping down two prominent trees on the TT course next week.

The trees, at Glen Helen, will take two days to fell, starting on Thursday, June 3.

A horse chestnut tree was badly damaged in a storm, while an ash tree at the entrance to the site has suffered from disease.

The government says they pose a significant danger to the public on the TT course, and so need to be removed.
