The Department of Infrastructure will consider discounting landing fees for airlines that are more sustainable.
That's according to Minister Tim Crookall in response to a question from Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh.
However, he said further consideration needs to be given to the proposals - which would see fees cut for airlines using sustainable fuels in their aircraft - and nothing can be brought in yet.
Mr Crookall says a decision about green fuels at the Airport needs to be made and the infrastructure needs to be in place.
