    Guernsey wants to build on Manx language success

    A delegation from Guernsey has visited the Island to seek the key to Manx Gaelic's successful revival.

    The chairman of the Guernsey Language Commission, deputy Darren Duquemin was looking to improve the Channel Island's own language service.

    In the last few years, the native Manx tongue has been a success story and is seen as a pioneer by other small jurisdictions that have similar issues regarding minority languages.

    Manx language officer Adrian Cain says it reflects well on the Isle of Man:
