A Douglas man will be sentenced in November after breaking a wedding guest’s nose.
31-year-old Christopher John Crellin, of Princes Avenue, lashed out at the man at a reception on July 27th.
Police were called to the Best Western Palace Hotel and Casino in Douglas just before 11pm after reports of an assault.
Crellin had pushed the man down several steps on a fire escape before punching him repeatedly - the man suffered a black eye and a broken nose.
At Douglas Courthouse on Tuesday he admitted assault causing actual bodily harm.
The court heard Crellin had reacted after the man challenged him about his behaviour over the course of the wedding day.
A social enquiry report has been requested before Crellin is sentenced on November 13 th - he’s been bailed until then.
