Gymnast reaches final at Commonwealth Games

Team Isle of Man gymnast Grace Harrison will compete in tonight's women's individual all-around final at the Commonwealth Games.

The 2013 Island Games Champion qualified for the event after shining in yesterday's women's artistic team final and individual qualifiers.

Harrison amassed a total score of 47.132 following strong displays in the floor, vault, uneven bars and beam events.

The 19-year-old yesterday competed along with fellow gymnasts Kaitlin Kneen, Tara Donnelly and Nicole Burns to become the Island's first female gymnasts to ever compete at the Commonwealth Games.

The girls finished an impressive 10th ahead of India, New Zealand, Sri Lanka and Malta.
