As a way to culminate Children’s Week the Children’s Centre will be holding a major charity initiative along Douglas Promenade today.
The centre is looking for mass participation for their 'Happy Feet' fun day, which will endeavour to get 10,000 footprints along the promenade.
Happy Feet will take place between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 16th July on Douglas Prom between the Sea Terminal and the Old Summerland Site.
It will cost £2 with all funds going to the Children Centre charity.
Community Fundraiser Grace Phillips said to achieve their target 5000 people will be needed so they’re appealing to everyone to come and take part. (audio above)
