The collective reserve price for historic memorabilia going to auction at the next Classic TT is already estimated at nearly £500,000.
That's according to Charterhouse Auctioneers which has carried out its first valuation day of the vintage TT artefacts which will be going under the hammer at the 2020 event.
Some of the items already confirmed to be up for grabs are Mick Grant's Kawasaki H2R race bike, two TT trophies from the 1920's and a very rare marshals armband from the early 1900s.
The first auction is scheduled to take place on next years August Bank Holiday weekend in the TT paddock at Noble's Park and will be open to both online and on-event bidders.
