Hometown fundraiser for biker injured in S100

An online fundraising page for a biker injured during a crash at the Southern 100 has raised more than 50,000 euros.

Anthony O'Carroll of Ballyduff was injured in July and airlifted to the Walton Centre for Neuroscience in Liverpool, where he's still being treated.

His family have issued a new update on a GoFundMe page about the future as he slowly recovers, saying they need to find him an appropriate place to recover in Ireland.

A fundraising weekend will be held in his hometown from September 13 as fundraising continues to fly the 27 year old home.
