Horse riders urged to be 'responsible' on Island roads

Horse riders are being reminded to be responsible when out and about across the Island.

The Isle of Man branch of the British Horse Society (BHS) has taken to social media, saying with many more people heading out on foot, bicycle or horseback responsible riding and being considerate to other users is 'imperative'.

The organisation adds whilst horses can be spooked by fast bikes, others can also be intimidated by the animals.

As a result, BHS Isle of Man is reiterating some key points for staying responsible, including enjoyment and respect, care of the land and being courteous to others.
