The horse tram service on Douglas promenade will be made shorter, according to teams behind the refurbishment.
The MyProm team says the single track system at Loch Promenade will be removed and, as result, once horse tram services return they will terminate at the War Memorial.
Meanwhile, officials also say the construction work will affect parallel parking at the bottleneck for the next few weeks.
The whole £25million project has been reviewed in light of the Coronavirus pandemic and is now expected to be completed in Easter 2021.
