An MHK will ask the treasury minister how many people will need to get their benefits in cash if MiCards are axed.
In Tynwald this week, Rushen member Juan Watterson will also quiz Dr Alex Allinson on how treasury will avoid vulnerable people accumulating large amounts of cash.
The government reversed its plans to scrap MiCards at the end of December, with negotiations to keep them for another year continuing.
Tynwald sits at 10am on Tuesday, December 9 in Legislative Buildings in Douglas.
