The government says 477 people responded to its public consultation on plans for an offshore windfarm.
The Council of Ministers has now referred the application for the Mooir Vannin project to an independent panel of experts.
They'll eventually advise ministers on whether to give the green light to plans for the windfarm off the Island's east coast.
