An iconic motorcycle has roared back to life as the Manx Museum prepares to open its new TT Gallery.
The Suzuki RG500 was ridden by Mike Hailwood in the 1979 Senior TT.
The engine was found by experts to be in good condition, instead of having suffered the expected corrosion.
The bike will go on display at the museum, paired with the original leathers and helmet worn by Hailwood for that race.
The attraction will be open in time for TT 2023.
