The Island's Infrastructure Minister says he doesn't know any details about nine problems with ferries in the past four months.
In Tynwald this week he faced questions from Central Douglas MHK Chris Thomas about problems with Steam Packet vessels between November and March.
Mr Crookall said the Manannan had one, the MV Arrow two and both the Ben my Chree and Manxman had three significant technical or regulatory issues dealt with by the Island's ship registry.
But he said he couldn't give details because he hadn't been asked for them:
