Inquest into death of woman who went into sea resumes

The inquest into the death of a Peel woman who went missing around the Niarbyl area last year will reconvene today.

60-year-old Catherine Pridham, who was known as Cathy, disappeared after entering the sea in March.

Her disappearance sparked land and sea searches after her car and possessions were found near the shoreline.

It's believed she had found out she was suffering from cancer after a period of remission.

Coroner of Inquests John Needham will restart proceedings at Douglas Courthouse at 10am.
