Aer Lingus hopes to restart flights from the Isle of Man to Dublin.
The airline has signed a 10 year agreement with Emerald to start flights from 2023 or earlier following the decline of Stobart Air.
It would provide a connection from Ireland to the Isle of Man, Jersey, and UK airports, with potential to expand in the future.
Over 400 new staff members will be required for this service, which Conor McCarthy – founder of Emerald Airlines – says is a great boost for the industry.
