Tynwald will be making a submission to a British parliamentary committee regarding the future of the Isle of Man within the Commonwealth.
The Chief Minister confirmed this to 3FM on today, saying there had been much talk in the UK about the future role of the Commonwealth.
The UK Foreign Affairs Committee is looking at the value of the Commonwealth to its members and to the UK in particular.
Allan Bell admitted that the message from the Island would have to be vocal – a result of the fact we’re a dependency and not a full member sovereign state (see audio).
