The Island now has its very first solar bench - where people can quite literally 'charge their batteries' .
Port Erin residents (and visitors) can now relax (and recharge) on the bench near the railway station in the village.
As a first for the Isle of Man, the solar bench lets people charge their mobile phones and devices by wireless or USB charging.
Port Erin Commissioners say they work on clean solar energy and are looking to roll out more similar projects.
