    Island earning figures revealed

    Just over 11 per cent of Island employees earned less than the Isle of Man Living Wage last year.

    That's down from 14 per cent in 2017 according to figures published in the governments latest earnings survey for 2018.

    Meanwhile, it also reported the median earnings were four per cent higher than in the UK, and full-time employees worked on average 37.9 hours with one hour overtime.

    The survey is carried out each year to identify the make up of earnings of Island employees.
