Island to host the ConIFA Euros

The Isle of Man has been chosen to host the ConIFA Euros competition next year.

The Manx International Football Alliance says it accepts the decision with 'tremendous pride' - the footballing event will run between June 13th and 21st.

Earlier this year Team Ellan Vannin took part in the ConIFA World Cup in Sweden finishing in in second place.

A statement released by MIFA says the people of the Island will provide all the competing international teams, supporters and international media with a fantastic footballing tournament.
