Island to play host to Celtic Media Festival

The Isle of Man is to play host to the Celtic Media Festival for the first time next year.

The event has been running for over 30 years and celebrates Celtic media in print and broadcasting.

Organisers expect around 500 people from the UK and British Islands to attend the festival.

The Island has never had the opportunity to host it before - Economic Development Minister Laurence Skelly says it's an excellent chance to promote our culture:
