The Chief Minister has sent a letter to Prime Minister David Cameron reaffirming the Island’s commitment to tax co-operation and transparency.
Tynwald has formally requested an extension of the Multilateral Convention on Mutual Assistance in Tax Matters.
This will enable the Island to sign tax exchange agreements with developing countries; it comes into effect here from January.
