Dozens of islanders turned out last night (Thursday) to show their solidarity for the people of Ukraine.
They attended a candlelit vigil in Villiers Square, Douglas which was lit up the blue and yellow colours of the Ukrainian flag for the occasion.
The evening began with a prayers led by the island's bishop and concluded with a minute's silence and the Ukrainian National Anthem.
Meanwhile the One World Centre said it has transferred almost 20,000 to the Disasters Emergency Committee Ukraine appeal.
The cash was raised through bucket collections around the island.
The organisation says it's still collecting, and any businesses who need a bucket should get in touch.
