Isle of Man Sport has cited a very high number of candidates for enduro champion David Knight’s omission from this year’s Sports Awards shortlist.
Three-times world champion David Knight failed to make it into either the 'Sports Man of the Year' or 'Ambassador' category, despite a string of victories all around the world.
Vice president of Isle of Man Sport Gary Corkhill says although he appreciates his frustration it was disappointing to see some of the remarks made by David on his Facebook page.
He says it boils down to the opinion of the judging panel:
