Campaigners will tonight call for drugs to be legalised, and regulated, on the Island in order to safeguard children.
The Positive Action Group and Isle of Man Freethinkers are jointly hosting an event at the Legion Club on Market Hill in Douglas from 7.30pm.
Jane Slater of UK group TRANSFORM will join Ray Lakeman, whose two sons died after taking drugs, to explain the possible benefits of such a policy change.
She says there are a variety of reasons to turn away from a war on drugs:
Gov wants your views on scrutiny of public money
Will the gov publish reports on Island's oil, gas, and coal deposits?
