The first reading of the Island's Abortion Reform Bill in Legislative Council has been put back.
The bill, backed by Dr Alex Allinson, passed its third reading in the House of Keys earlier this month and is now due to be considered by the upper branch.
But Bill Henderson MLC says it's not ready to go before LegCo because of the amount of changes made by MHKs.
He says the council needs a correct copy of the legislation before it can move forward.
