Letters sent out ahead of 2021 Isle of Man Census

Letters are being sent out to every household on Island ahead of this year's Census.

The Isle of Man’s first census was first held in 1821, and recorded an population of 40,081.

Since then, it’s taken place every 10 years and has helped supply information so Government can plan services, shape policies and observe societal trends.

This year - people are strongly encouraged to complete the process online rather than using paper forms

All households have a legal obligation to complete it - those who don't will face prosecution for failing to provide the requested information.
