    Lieutenant Governor cut from car

The Lieutenant Governor had to be cut from a car by the Fire and Rescue Service this week - as he took part in a training exercise.

Sir Richard Gozney visited Douglas Fire Station with Home Affairs Minister Bill Malarkey on Monday.

As well as touring the station the governor took part in a mock traffic accident where he played a casualty.

Firefighters from green watch cut him from a car and successfully freed him.
