    Lifeboat called to vessel's aid

Douglas lifeboat was called out yesterday to help a fishing boat with engine problems near Port Grenaugh.

Just before 2.30pm crews went to the 8-metre vessel, which had four people on board - it had left Douglas earlier that morning on a fishing trip.

The people on board had been left stranded approximately a mile off the coast after a fuel line blockage meant their engine wouldn't re-start.

Nobody was hurt during the incident and the vessel was towed back to Douglas harbour.
