Two Island lifeboats were called out at the weekend after a fishing vessel got into difficulties.
Crews from Port Erin and Peel were scrambled after the boat suffered electrical problems and was unable to start its engine.
Peel's lifeboat began to tow the vessel near Niarbyl.
Coxswain Mike Faragher says the fishing vessel's crew managed to restart its engine and made their own way to Peel under escort.
