Two local authorities in the north of the Island say they are ‘relieved’ the Ramsey boundary extension inquiry proceedings have ended.
This week it was confirmed Ramsey Town Commissioners would not be given the go-ahead to expand.
If the authority had been successful Garff and Lezayre Commissioners would’ve had some of their land taken over.
Garff Commissioners says it’s ‘relieved’ the process has now concluded whilst Lezayre has described it as an ‘uphill struggle’.
