There has been no further update from the Chelsea Hospital where Robin Gibb is currently in a coma.
Press reports however have said he was writing songs and making a list of things to do once he'd recovered, shortly before he fell ill again.
Fans have taken to twitter and to the stars facebook page in their thousands to offer the former Bee Gee messages of support.
One man who knows the local star better than most on the Island is veteran broadcaster, Bernie Quayle.
He spent considerable time with the brothers in the late 90's and has since stayed with Robin in his Oxfordshire home; he's branded him a true fighter.
