In 2021 alone, 16 defibrillators have been installed across the island thanks to a local charity.
That is the latest update from Craig's Heartstrong Foundation - a charity originally set up by the Lunt family in memory of their 25-year-old son, Craig.
He was a well-respected, talented and popular young Manx footballer who tragically died in April 2005, his death was due to an undiagnosed heart defect.
The charity says there are now 66 public-access defibrillators on the island- with a further 15 in the pipeline.
