    Local Mum aims to run 5k every day in May to raise awareness of son's rare condition

    Lynda Davies has joined a team of volunteers to undertake the challenge for Dravet Syndrome, a rare form of epilepsy. 

    She aims to raise money for Dravet Syndrome UK as her five year old son Lyidan  is the only person on the Island who suffers with it. 

    One of the effects of the condition is seizures, with Lyidan's longest one lasting over three and a half hours when he was just 10 months old. 

    A group of Manx residents have pledged to take part, with Lynda encouraging anyone interested to give it a go to raise money for the charity.
