The first Manxman ever to scale the highest mountains on all seven continents has returned home victorious.
Acting police chief inspector Phil Drowley completed a 15,629-foot climb to the top of the Carstenz Pyramid in Australasia.
The 46-year old trekked through the jungle for a week to reach the foot of the peak – and then became one of only 230 climbers to complete the seven-summit challenge.
He did it to raise money for Ronald McDonald House Isle of Man Families and Friends - which is used as a home away from home for parents of children from the Island who are in UK hospitals.
