    Local Tycoon Announced Billion Pound Charity Plan

    Albert Gubay Charity Foundation to Generate £20 Million per Year

    Island based tycoon Albert Gubay has announced what he wants to do with his money when he passes away.

    The Welshman who has appeared in the Sunday Times rich-list is responsible for the Kwik-Save shopping chain. Upon his death he’s pledged half of his fortune to the Church, the other amount he is pouring into a Charity he is setting up which will endeavour to benefit the Isle of Man.

    The Albert Gubay Charitable Foundation will generate an estimated £20 million a year for on Island Charities, when fully funded it could be worth £1 billion.

    Now at the age of 82 Mr Gubay shows no signs of slowing down saying his ambition is to work hard over the coming years to ensure it reaches it’s £1 billion target.
