    Loggerhead turtle washed up in Port Soderick

    The turtle was washed up on a beach at Port Soderick

    A small loggerhead turtle which washed up in Port Soderick last week probably got "blown off course": 

     
    That's marine officer Lara Howe - she says the Manx Wildlife Trust is "fascinated" by the discovery; the only turtles which occasionally frequent Manx waters are the leatherback species. 
     
    The find has been reported to the Natural History Museum but no decision has been made yet on what will happen to the creature:
