    Lout trout drought ruled out

Island reservoirs will be well-stocked despite the death of 4,500 fish at Kirk Michael, according to the government.

Last Monday, a compressor was turned off at a fish farm in Glen Wyllin, killing thousands of rainbow trout.

However, Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot says the incident isn’t expected to have any impact on stocks in reservoirs.

Police are still investigating – if you have any information on the attack, you’re being asked to contact police headquarters.
