Major Effort To Get Roads Ready For TT Fortnight

Motorists Urged to Watch Out for Road Workers

In the coming weeks the Department of Infrastructure will have a major presence on the TT course getting it ready in time for the biking fortnight.

Its thought there will be between 40 and 60 workers on the course at any one time repairing some of the damage caused by the recent icy conditions.

The Department are especially keen to remind motorists to adhere to any temporary speed restrictions in place.

A worker was recently clipped by a vehicle in the Quarter-bridge area, an Infrastructure spokesperson has said this is one too many and any motorists caught disregarding the speed limits will face fines.
