A Ballaugh man has denied falsely claiming more than £10,000 in benefits.
Richard Needham, of The Curraghs, appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood at Douglas Courthouse.
The 62-year-old denies four counts of false representation to obtain benefit.
He's alleged to have claimed benefits as a single person despite living with his wife, falsely claiming £10,286.
The case was adjourned for a pre-trial review until April 23 and Mr Needham was bailed.
