A man who admitted possessing drugs worth tens of thousands of pounds will be sentenced next month.
Vincent Sims of Tynwald Terrace in Douglas appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes this week.
He pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis resin, cannabis bush and heroin with intent to supply them at his home on December 1 last year.
The court heard police raided his flat and found 67 grammes of heroin in a kitchen cupboard, along with cannabis resin labelled "American Gangster".
Prosecution advocate Rachael Braidwood told the hearing the total value of all the drugs was around £20,000.
When questioned by police, 20 year old Sims said he’d been bullied into storing the heroin, although he wouldn’t say who it belonged to.
He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced at the Court of General Gaol Delivery on March 4.
