Police have confirmed a man was arrested at the weekend on suspicion of arson.
It comes following a huge blaze at Africa House on Woodbourne Road in Douglas on Friday night.
The Island's Fire Service had suspected the blaze was deliberate and believe it had been burning for at least an hour before Emergency Services arrived.
Now, police have confirmed a man was apprehended on suspicion of arson, but was given bail.
Authorities are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the fire, or who may have information that could help enquiries.
Officers say the property remains in a 'dangerous condition' and are advising the public to stay clear.
