A man from Anagh Coar has been bailed after admitting breaking the Island’s coronavirus laws during lockdown.
Liam Priestnal of Lheannag Park appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes via a live video link from the prison.
He’s pleaded guilty to one count of leaving his home without good reason on January 25 but denies being at an illegal gathering on the same date.
Prosecutor Hazel Carroon told the hearing the 25 year old was arrested at an address in Anagh Coar Road and told police he was collecting a mobile phone charger.
After hearing Priestnal’s advocate wished to step down from the case, Mrs Hughes bailed him in the sum of £500 on condition he observes a 10pm to 6am curfew.
He’s next due to appear in court on February 25.
