A Douglas man has denied bringing cannabis into the island after being stopped at the Sea Terminal.
Steven Carridge, of Princes Road, appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 42-year-old pleaded not guilty to producing cannabis, possessing it and having a knife in a public place.
The court heard officers searched his car as he came off the ferry and found cannabis worth almost £400 and a knife in a compartment.
Mr Carridge was bailed in the sum of £500 until he appears again on May 30.
