A man who abused staff at Noble’s Hospital while drunk has been told his behaviour was disgraceful.
20 year old Kieran Cain of Empire Terrace admitted being drunk and disorderly when he appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes this week.
Prosecution advocate Hazel Carroon told the court police were called to Accident & Emergency just after midnight on January 31.
Cain had been kicking doors, as well as shouting abuse at medical staff and his mother - who was receiving treatment - until officers took him outside and arrested him.
Mrs Hughes said it was Cain’s fifth alcohol-related conviction in just 18 months, and was subject to a 12-month conditional discharge after admitting being drunk and incapable last year.
He was fined £200 for that crime, another £500 for the incident at the hospital and ordered to pay £125 costs.
Cain was also ordered to pay a £50 outstanding fine immediately or go to jail for seven days.
